Tomberry® is an unusually small tomato variety and Aroma has the exclusivity of its cultivation, packaging and distribution in the domestic market. Its name is coined by blending the words “tomato” and “berry”, because its size resembles that of berries.
Description
Tomberries® are thin-skinned, crispy and full of flavor, with a vibrant color and the benefits of a tomato . They are available in two varieties, red and orange. What has stolen gastronomes’ heart internationally is their very small size (diameter 0.5-1.5 cm and weight 1-2 g, but not only Chefs love the Tomberries®. They are also enthusiastically welcomed by the consumer and especially by children, who, even if in majority have difficulty in eating vegetables, these little colorful tomato pearls have made it a piece of cake. They can be used whole in many ways and in almost every dish since they do not need to be cut and cleaned in order to be added in recipes. Raw in salads, sandwiches, dips and garnishes, cooked in soups, pizzas, pies, pasta, tacos, tortillas, omelets, fish, meat, etc. Also, they are a practical and healthy snack for the office, school, walk or trip. Before using them, don’t forget to rinse only the amount you will use.
